Coated Papers

Are available in Matt, Satin and Gloss finishes. Coatings add a smooth surface essential for fine screen colour reproduction and retain ink gloss which can be lost on more absorbent uncoated paper.

Uncoated Paper

Are available in Bonds, Boards and Specialties. Uncoated paper is stock manufactured by aligning and joining the microscopic cellulose fibres to create a sheet of paper.
The uncoated range of papers can be very diverse in quality due to the processes achieved in milling, refining and polishing the surface.
Uncoated papers are very porous compared to coated stock and this must be remembered when designing and selecting stock for your print projects.
Uncoated stocks can include offsets, ivory boards, laid & wove specialties, including newsprint.
